After becoming frustrated with the lack of affordable solutions on the market aimed at helping golfers improve their game, our founder Broderick used his background in machine learning, AI, and software development to launch Golf AI in 2019.
The goal hasn’t changed since: leverage artificial intelligence to simplify skill improvement, and bring sports coaching into the 21st century — for the golfer who plays on weekends, not just the one on tour.
Today the app is rated 4.4 out of 5 on the App Store, and the team keeps shipping against the same idea.
Our technology
Golf AI is the first implementation of our proprietary 3D pose-estimation technology on the iPhone — a golf teaching app with instant swing analysis and training. It reads the body from ordinary video, which is what removes the sensors, the wearables, and the launch monitor from the equation.
